Propane Program

As a member of the Glidden Drive Association, you are eligible to take advantage of a propane contract that is negotiated by our propane liaison, Steve Murray (a volunteer).   We usually get a better rate and service than is typically available to an individual.

Reminders of propane:

• Do NOT let your tank go empty.

• No sales tax should be charged in Wisconsin on propane if it is your primary residence

• The tank should never go below 20% or over 80%

• Read your contract to find out if there is an emergency response charge (for being empty or running out of propane).  This can vary whether you are on "Will Call" or "Auto Fill"

• Many of the companies now have monitors to allow them and you to see the fill level of your tank.

• Make sure there is always a path for the propane company to get to the tank (especially in winter)
