Meet The Members
Anne Fiorello and Holly Hebel, the owners of The Tin Plate formerly The Hitching Post, are new members of GDA. Both women were social workers in the Fox Valley before entering the restaurant business. Anne, a native of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, grew up in Madison. Holly is a native of Green Bay. In 1988, Holly needed a break from social work and moved to Egg Harbor where her friends owned The Village Cafe. She worked there and at The White Gull Inn learning the restaurant business as a cook over the next twelve years. She and Anne formed a business partnership and opened The White Dog - Black Cat Cafe at 201 S. Broadway in Green Bay. After ten successful years and counting there, they purchased The Hitch, remodeled and renamed it The Tin Plate. Their business philosophy is to offer good food and early in the day music in a family and animal friendly cafe. The kitty is named Prudence and Anne is wearing the hat.
